Front Office

Front Office

Office is a word that comes from English, "Front" means front and "Office" means office. So the front office can be interpreted as a department in the hotel which is located at the front and not far from the lobby or front door of the hotel.
The definition of front office is a part or department in a hotel that is at the very front and is responsible for receiving all incoming calls from outside and from inside, all room booking processes, check-in and check-out processes, and as a center of information etc.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping in Indonesian is called housekeeping, which comes from the word tata which means to maintain, care for, organize, maintain, while graha is a building, house, guesthouse, hotel. The definition of housekeeping is part of the department that is responsible for organizing or arranging equipment, maintaining cleanliness and comfort, repairing damage and decoration with the aim that the hotel looks neat, clean, attractive and pleasant for its residents.

Basic English is one of the subjects that must be studied at Hotel Academy Cianjur which is an international language used as a communication tool in the world of Hospitality industry to serve guests from various countries.

Food and Beverage Product

Food and Beverage Product is one of the sections in the hotel that handles food and beverage processing from raw materials to ready-to-eat products ranging from appetizers, soups, main courses and desserts for hotel guests. It is necessary to have competent knowledge and expertise in accordance with the standards in processing food and beverage products, so that guests feel satisfied tasting the products offered.
A person in charge of this department is often known as a Chef in food and beverage processing is of course not only reliable in the knowledge and skills needed, but also requires discipline, tidiness, good appearance, honesty, responsibility, speed, accuracy and a professional attitude in carrying out his duties.

Hygiene is an activity to maintain health from disease that focuses on the "object" itself "humans", activities such as washing hands, cooking water / food, processing food and beverage products and others.
Sanitation is an activity to maintain health from disease that focuses on the "environment" around the "human" object, activities such as maintaining room cleanliness, food and beverage air circulation, waste management, handling vectors, diseases and others.

Basic Barista

Barista is an occupation whose job is to make and serve espresso-based coffee to customers. The word "barista" is Italian for barmaid and barista is an honorable position. The barista position at the outlet is the spearhead for us to share the pleasure of a cup of coffee and the meaning of friendship.

Food And Beverage Service is one of the departments in the hotel that focuses on the sale and service of food & beverages served at F&B outlets such as Coffee Shop, Dining Room, Room Service, Function Room etc. which are managed professionally and commercially to meet the needs and achieve guest satisfaction.

Cruise ship or cruise liner is a ship that is used specifically for recreational purposes etc. Passengers board cruise ships to enjoy the time spent on board with luxurious lodging facilities and amenities like a star hotel. Some cruise ships have a cruise route that always returns to the port of departure. The length of a cruise voyage can vary, ranging from a few days to about three months without returning to the port of departure.

Pastry is a section in the Food & Beverages Product organization that specializes in making cakes, cakes, cookies, pastries, chocolate, pudding and various other desserts. In it there is a sub-section namely Bakery which specializes in making various kinds of bread.

EXECUTIVE SHORT CLASS PROGRAM

EXECUTIVE SHORT CLASS PROGRAM (1-2 Months Theory & Practicum at HAC Campus and 3 Months OJT in the Industrial World) for the choice of one of the above subjects accompanied by Basic English.

WORK SKILLS EDUCATION (PROGRAM BANPER PENDIDIKAN KECAKAPAN KERJA)

Scholarship Training / Seasonal Program (1-2 Months of Theory & Practicum on the HAC campus and 3 Months OJT in the Industrial World with courses determined by the Directorate General of Vocational Education and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. This program aims to meet the needs of Workers in the Hospitality and Cruise Industry who will become professional, reliable, trained and ready to be placed to work in the Hospitality Industry both at home and abroad.

CLASS ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM FOR CRUISE SHIP AND HOTEL (Land Base Job) IN OVERSEAS

Is a special class for those who already have knowledge of basic hospitality and who want to be channeled to work on cruise ships or in hotels (Land Base Job) abroad. Duration of time between 1 – 3 months (Adjusted to the needs).
